Raising Awareness

What is trauma? How does trauma impact us? What is an adverse childhood experience (ACE) score and why does it matter? What does being trauma informed have to do with being inclusive? How can we increase resilience?

Sharing Resources

There is no one-size-fits-all plan for healing from trauma. We all have to figure out what works for us. We don't share advice. We share tools you can add to your personal self-care toolkit.

Creating Safe Spaces

Connecting our minds and bodies is an important part of healing and building resilience. Mindfulness, yoga, and meditation increase emotional intelligence. They can also play a key role in supporting whole body health and wellbeing.

Fundraising Campaign

Support Safe Spaces by making a tax deductible donation. We're connecting kids to books that make reading fun and support socio-emotional learning. Find out more and donate below.
