Trauma is a significant event that causes overwhelming emotional distress. Trauma impacts all areas of our wellbeing. Trauma is experienced differently by everyone, even survivors of the same event.

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events experienced during childhood. ACEs can lead to significant health issues in adulthood including high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, and mental health issues, including increased suicidality.​

Through an intentional focus on healing and continuously caring for the whole being we can live wHEALthy lives.

HOW

wHEALthy living is centered around self-compassion and empathy. Loving our whole selves as we are in the present moment naturally leads to seeing and loving others as they are.

WHY

Shame can be tough to deal with. Many of us don't want to think about it, nevermind face it head on. Pain doesn't disappear on its own. As scary as it is, finding ways to acknowledge what we've been through is an essential part of healing from it.
