A leading national law firm is seeking a Legal Recruiting Manager to manage and execute attorney recruiting initiatives across key markets. This role partners with firm leadership, attorneys, candidates, law schools, and recruiting professionals to support the organization's talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

​

  • Manage legal recruiting activities from sourcing through onboarding.

  • Source and identify attorney candidates across relevant markets.

  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and recruiting processes.

  • Maintain organized candidate pipelines and recruiting records.

  • Build and maintain relationships with law schools and legal recruiting organizations.

  • Partner with attorneys and firm leadership on recruiting initiatives.

  • Coordinate recruiting events and candidate programs.

  • Monitor recruiting activity, metrics, and market trends.

  • Collaborate with internal recruiting and human-resources teams.

Qualifications

 

  • Professional recruiting experience required.

  • Legal recruiting experience preferred.

  • Experience in a law firm or professional-services environment strongly preferred.

  • Strong candidate-management and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple recruiting processes simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology preferred.

 

Senior Lateral Partner Recruiter

About the Opportunity

 

A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Lateral Partner Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment of partner-level attorneys. The position will develop proactive talent pipelines and partner closely with firm leadership and external search partners on strategic attorney recruitment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead full-cycle lateral partner recruiting processes.

  • Identify and develop relationships with partner-level candidates.

  • Conduct market research and build proactive candidate pipelines.

  • Source attorneys through direct outreach, professional networks, referrals, and external search firms.

  • Engage candidates and manage relationships throughout the recruiting process.

  • Partner with firm leadership and attorneys to define recruiting priorities.

  • Coordinate candidate interviews, due diligence, offers, and onboarding.

  • Develop strong relationships with external legal search firms.

  • Monitor legal market trends and competitive recruiting activity.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data.

  • Use applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technology to manage pipelines.

  • Support strategic growth initiatives through targeted lateral recruiting.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Seven or more years of legal recruiting experience.

  • Significant experience recruiting partner-level attorneys.

  • Strong understanding of legal-market dynamics and attorney mobility.

  • Established knowledge of lateral partner recruitment.

  • Experience managing relationships with external legal search firms.

  • Strong candidate-development and relationship-management skills.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, project-management, and organizational skills.
