Overview

​

A leading AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator – Practice Liaison to support the marketing and business development efforts of multiple practice groups. This position will work closely with practice group leaders, attorneys, and marketing professionals to increase visibility, strengthen client development initiatives, and execute strategic marketing priorities.

​

Reporting to a Marketing Manager, this role combines strategic partnership, project management, content development, events, and business development support.

​

Key Responsibilities

​

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner and project manager to practice group and subgroup leaders, helping establish goals, implement initiatives, and track progress against key priorities.

  • Plan and manage events, seminars, conferences, and webinars, including audience targeting, vendor coordination, post-event evaluations, and ROI analysis.

  • Coordinate occasional travel associated with events and other marketing initiatives.

  • Support the onboarding of new attorneys and help them become integrated into the firm and their respective practice groups.

  • Lead submissions for Chambers, Legal 500, and other industry awards and rankings for assigned practice areas.

  • Maintain and enhance practice group pitch materials and collaborate with proposal professionals on business development opportunities.

  • Develop customized pitches and marketing materials tailored to prospective and existing clients.

  • Partner with attorneys, practice groups, and the broader marketing team to develop, edit, and manage high-quality content, including client alerts, newsletters, website content, practice descriptions, attorney biographies, and thought leadership materials.

  • Maintain content calendars and ensure messaging aligns with established brand standards and voice.

  • Coordinate content distribution across digital channels, including websites, email campaigns, and social media.

  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.

 

Qualifications

​

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • At least six years of marketing experience required.

  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.

  • Experience with RFPs and proposal writing is a plus.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into compelling, audience-focused content.

  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
